Dayclub vs Nightclub

Same world-class DJs, two completely different parties. Here's the difference in vibe, music, dress, hours and cost — and why most Vegas weekends do both.

The difference

Sun and pool, or dark and dance floor

A dayclub is a pool party — outdoors, in daylight, swimwear on, running from late morning into the early evening. Think Encore Beach Club and the Wynn and Marquee dayclubs: daybeds and cabanas around the water, DJs on a pool stage, a high-energy social scene in the sun.

A nightclub is the after-dark room — indoors, dress code on, running from around 10:30pm to close. XS, OMNIA, Zouk and Hakkasan: big production, headliner sets, the late-night peak. The same names often play both rooms across a weekend.

The move

Most weekends do both

The classic Vegas day runs dayclub into nightclub — a pool party in the afternoon, a reset and dinner, then a nightclub table after midnight. Both run on a food & beverage minimum (a set amount you spend on bottles and/or food, not a cover), with tax, gratuity and the venue fee on top. Tell us the day and your group and we’ll line up the whole run, with preferential placement and complimentary upgrades when they’re available.

Dayclub vs nightclub — common questions

What's the difference between a dayclub and a nightclub?
A dayclub is a pool party — outdoors, in daylight, swimwear, running from late morning into the evening. A nightclub is indoors, after dark, with a dress code, running from around 10:30pm to close. Same world-class DJs often play both; the setting and the energy are what differ.
Is a dayclub or nightclub more expensive?
Both work on a food & beverage minimum (not a cover), and both scale with the day, the DJ and your location. Dayclubs price by daybed vs cabana vs bungalow; nightclubs by booth vs dance-floor section. On a marquee day either can run into the thousands — we confirm the exact minimum for your date.
Can you do a dayclub and a nightclub in the same day?
Yes — that's the classic Vegas move. Dayclub in the afternoon, a reset, dinner, then a nightclub table after midnight. Tell us the day and we'll line up both with the timing that works.
What do I wear to a dayclub vs a nightclub?
Dayclubs want swimwear plus a cover-up and sandals. Nightclubs are upscale — dress to impress, and skip athletic wear, shorts and flip-flops. Doors enforce it on busy days.
Which is better for a group?
Both, depending on the vibe — dayclubs are social and high-energy in the sun; nightclubs are the late, big-room experience. Either way a table keeps the group together with guaranteed entry and a home base. We'll match the room to your crew.
